School Administrator and Health Educator Terrance Ames Schloth
Terrance Ames Schloth is a licensed educator in the state of Oregon. He served as the assistant principal of Centennial High School in Gresham from 2018 to 2023, during which time he managed student discipline efforts and led an initiative to improve attendance. He supported the school in a number of additional roles, including athletic director during the 2020-2021 school year, a position that involved extensive COVID-19 protocol monitoring. Terrance Ames Schloth previously spent four years as an assistant principal at Reynolds High School in Troutdale, preceded by nearly two decades as the school’s health and physical education teacher.
Mr. Schloth holds a bachelor of science in secondary education and interdisciplinary studies from Western Oregon University and a master of science in education, with a focus on curriculum and instruction, from Portland State University. He has expanded his professional skills by completing the initial administrator program at Portland State University and a joint Portland State/Concordia University professional administrator program. The latter resulted in a professional administrator license from the Teacher Standards and Practices Commission.
